Fantasy Football Season 2: Game Week 22 Preview

Simon:

I lost! Can you believe it?! Many wouldn’t to be honest. In the grander scheme of things, it’s no big deal. I rode my luck the other week and won when I thought I might not, so this cancels it out.

I’m making changes this week with the future in mind, hopefully they come off short term but this is very much with future weeks in mind. Out goes Mccarthy of Southampton, and Holding of Arsenal. In their place, 2…yes TWO, players from Burnley. Pope in nets and Lowton. There is a double game week coming up for them and so anything this week is a bonus.

Bruno will be the captain this week.

Team:

Pope; Lowton, Cancelo, Stones; Gundogan, Fernandes (c), Barnes, Salah, Soucek; Bamford, Antonio.

Kev:

Writing on the back of a win is odd. A great week from the lads and just the one change, a massive knee jerk reaction after Rodriguez didn’t play and Lingard had a dream debut sees these switched and some money saved, let’s see if Lingard can do it against Fulham. I did consider him to be captain but opted for Son v WBA.

Also some more bold moves – Cavani, Gundogon and Stones on the bench. The thought process is that Liverpool will score against City so Stones loses points and Liverpool might win 1-0 so Gundogan gets 2 points. Cavani drops down too because Everton defence is tight and I see more clean sheets so picked 4 defenders.

Team:

Martinez; Justin, Cresswell, Holding, Alioski; Lingard, Maddison, Son (c), Fernandes; Watkins, Ings.
