Fantasy Football Season 2: Game Week 21 Preview

Simon:

Here we are again. No rest, again, between game weeks. Just Monday to look at what you have and decide if you want to roll the dice. I rode my luck a little last week with the -4 not costing me, this week I won’t be so gung ho.

Unless there are any last minute leaks regarding injuries, I won’t be making a transfer this week. There are changes that I would like to make, but having 2 transfers affords me a little more freedom. I’m not getting complacent with the 8 game lead, but I can afford to be a little less aggressive.

Brighton kept Spurs at bay, but I’m hoping that Liverpool will prove too tough an opponent just a few days later. The captains strap goes to Salah, although there were other worthy candidates.

I’m keeping faith with the City assets, but Soucek and Targett are ready and raring to go on the bench if needed.

Team:

McCarthy; Holding, Cancelo, Stones; Gundogan, Fernandes, Barnes, Salah (c); Calvert-Lewin, Bamford, Antonio.

Kev:

So the wildcard didn’t work! The week I had planned for only yielded 35 points with my keeper getting 10 of those so changes needed.

Mane is injured so we welcome back Rodriguez, he had a great start to the season so I’m hoping for good things again. The 2nd change sees Foden out and Maddison in, he’s also made captain so this could be big!

Team:

Martinez; Holding, Stones, Justin; Gundogan, Son, Fernandez, Maddison (c), Rodriguez; Watkins, Ings.
