Fantasy Football: Game Week 4 review

It’s International break time. 4 weeks of the season have passed and now we have two weeks to reflect on our performance and plan for the future. All of this is good news for Kev because he doesn’t have the right key for the lock at this time when it comes to beating me and is already 12 points behind in the league, having lost all 4 games.

Captaincy choices can often decide a week, and with a difference in captains again for week 4, it clearly played a part. Kev will be disappointed with the performance of his offensive players this week, with nothing of note from Pukki or Rashford and slim pickings from 2 of his 5 man midfield. Time to call on the youth team, maybe they have a little more desire to win!

Only a possible long term injury to Laporte took any shine off the emphatic win for me, potentially forcing my hand when it comes to my next transfer when I was already sweating on a knock for Martial. Perhaps this makes my victory all of the more impressive, as it meant I had to start with three Norwich players and Laporte accounted for zero of my 59 points.

I’ll be over here with my feet up in the meantime, looking to resume my dominance in Game Week 5.

Final Score

Kev 41 – 59 Simon
